I've managed to make it to gold 1 now with S1mple still as my subpar main attacker and I see Ninja less and less on pvp teams in the higher ranks. The game suddenly felt way too easy after I got a great champion on my team which pushed me into way higher content. I blew through a ton of content I was struggling with in a short period of time compared to many of my clan members who lacked a strong support champion. I decided to just continue on with my lame champions and pulled my first badass legendary Borgni from free Ancient shards on a 2x day, which helped my progression tremendously even without Ninja or Kael as my nuker. Hell, I didn't even pick Kael as my starter and almost started a new account when I found out how good he was as an attacker. Although it's tough to accept that Ninja will probably never be available for us sad few who came late, I've found that if I don't compare myself to the other players that have more or better champions than me, it helps me enjoy the game more without feeling the need to spend a lot off money to compete or feel like a disadvantaged player for having missed out on anything. I missed out on Ninja as well and he keeps coming up as a recommended champion to use by streamers for various content, especially in the new shadowkin faction wars that just opened.
